An engine of Diablo GT-1 was produced especially during canceled production of engines in Lamborghini factory at one time.
Even if it was limited aspiration by restrictor, 6 liter V12 DOHC engine output More than 550ps, and this was the best out of the All Japan GT Championship participation cars. In addition, this engine adopted slide valve throttle of power boat engine of Lamborghini. Transmission was Hewland made sequential 6-speed.

The cockpit was arranged functionally as a racing car. The shift was straight pattern, push it shift up and pull it shift down. The steering wheel was desorption-type. Boarding and alighting of a driver was not possible unless the steeing wheel excluded. The meter was a liquid crystal screen and a driver could confirm the necessary information by button operation. Because a driver was fixed on a seat by seat belt, all switches were posted to be able to operate without unreasonableness.

A chassis was handmade, and the body was made with carbon or FRP lightweight material. Only windscreen used the same one of Diablo commercial car. Door window was made by lightweight acrylic. Fins of right and left four pieces in total sticks to body side front edge, these are to get downforce. To let air of huge radiator stored away big mouth opened in front of windscreen.
