Diablo Jota, which is running in the series 1995. Car name was Diablo Corsa at first, but it was formally permitted the name of Jota by Lamborghini company by a requested from Japan side.
Rear wing is carbon made for C-car. The car was developed for pure races in Lamborghini, and mechanics who made Lamborghini F1 were in charge of the chassis and the engine production. It showed a wonderful power, but had hard fight because it used wheels and gearbox of commercial car.

The simple cockpit and atomosphere is different from a road car. H pattern manual shift of five speed mission can be seen. It is different from other domestic GT cars, and it is the left steering wheel but driver change during race was advantageous as because driver did not intersect the gasoline supply.
A photograph is a car at the time of completion. Later, side shell ( body under doors) were reinforced largely to make up for lack of hardness.
It fitted a slightly bigger steering wheel because of without power support and burden in cornerin for drivers was big.

In 1996 series, The front tread was widened to maximum width of the reguation in order to improve cornering ability, and due to the regulation the exhaust pipe was changed its position from center dual above bumper to bumper bottom right and left. Also lower engine deployment position, modified suspension, lightweighted parts,etc, there were remodeled parts more suitable for the actual fighting. These were carried out by conduct of Mr. Yutaka Imanishi of the former Toms who was supervision in those days and potential was considerably improved.

Jota which ran through a debut battle of the series in 1995. The rear wing was modified a wing of commercial car to variable type and designed to match a body,but the postion of with was higher than regulated position so after two races it waschanged to flat type. From exhaust pipe we were able to hear a high-pitched exhaust note of the V2 cylinder which reminded you of F1. Rear panel is full-scale net-shape to let air from engine room and the left round part is air jack valve.
